REDHAWK ANNOUNCES NEW GM AND FOCUS OF INNOVATION

Redhawk Administrative Services continues to strengthen its role as a leader in federal financial management and innovation, guided by a clear focus: apply technology where it matters most.

As Daniel (“Danny”) Abatemarco Jr. steps into his new role as General Manager, that focus remains central to how Redhawk approaches its work across the enterprise.

At the core of Redhawk’s approach is a disciplined view of innovation. Rather than pursuing automation for its own sake, the team concentrates on solving real operational challenges — particularly those that are labor-intensive, high-risk, or critical to mission success. By applying automation, advanced analytics, and intelligent workflows, Redhawk is helping transform manual processes into scalable, repeatable solutions that improve accuracy and decision-making.

This approach is already delivering measurable results. By combining deep subject matter expertise in federal financial management with tools such as UiPath, business intelligence platforms, and data analytics, Redhawk has supported organizations like the Defense Health Agency in modernizing financial oversight, improving audit readiness, and providing leadership with actionable insights in near real time.

Two solutions – STRIKE and TRACE – highlight how this work translates into operational impact.

The Strategic Tracking and Recovery of Idle/Known Expenditures (STRIKE) solution enhances financial visibility by automating the consolidation and reconciliation of Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) data across fiscal years. By eliminating manual data preparation and creating a single, authoritative dataset, STRIKE allows analysts to focus on identifying excess obligations and recovering dormant funds. The result is more informed resource allocation, improved transparency, and stronger stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Similarly, the Transaction Reconciliation & Anomaly Compliance Engine (TRACE) is transforming how organizations approach compliance. By automating the collection and analysis of Government Travel Charge Card transactions, TRACE enables teams to identify potential risks related to fraud, waste, abuse, and misuse with greater speed and consistency. During a recent Defense Health Agency audit cycle, the tool supported the review of more than 11,000 transactions, helping to surface trends, flag high-risk activity, and provide leadership with a clearer view of compliance across the enterprise.

For Redhawk, these solutions represent more than isolated successes. They reflect a repeatable model for innovation: identify the challenge, apply the right technology, and deliver outcomes that improve both efficiency and mission performance.

As Danny steps into his new leadership role, that model remains a guiding principle. It is an approach that aligns closely with the Federal Group’s broader focus on Innovation in Action — ensuring that new ideas are not just explored, but implemented in ways that create real, lasting value.
